Back to school was my favorite when I worked for CPS. We weren’t supposed to buy the kiddos things with our own money but I did it every year. I’d ask them what kind of backpack they wanted and tell them to make me a list. I remember going back to school and not having the things the other kids had so if I could give them that, I did. They already have to deal with things kids just shouldn’t have to.
